We are looking for a proactive, highly-motivated and results driven leader to join the TELUS Business Solutions Public Sector Wireless team, within Products and Services, at TELUS.

You will be joining an amazing team of collaborative, innovative and driven individuals. We have a strong customer focus and are committed to service excellence


You will evaluate business case fundamentals on new and existing sales opportunities with sales management, act as a national lead to make difficult pricing decisions, manage revenue and gross margin targets, internal and external negotiations, and provide solutions/creative implementation of current wireless product offerings to enhance TELUS' value proposition and achieve internal KPIs.


You will also build relationships with key stakeholders in sales, marketing and finance, act as an influencer with cross functional and executive groups in order to enhance revenue and penetration, provide regional leadership on performance and competitive trends/behavior, and special projects in support of Corporate objectives.


What you'll do

  • You will work closely with the sales team in developing solutions and pricing strategies demonstrating solid judgment in ambiguous situations
  • You will perform profitability analysis, competitive evaluation and financial risk assessment on strategic opportunities
  • You will pursue achievement of internal KPIs through activities such as, but not limited to, managing opportunity funnels, contract implementation, account audits, and loss mitigation
  • You will analyze and anticipate corporate pricing trends in the market and adapt corporate pricing offers and KPI achievement accordingly

Qualifications:

What you bring

  • You have indepth knowledge of the wireless industry and wireless technologies gained through a minimum of 25 years' experience
  • You have experience in building and logically communicating a financial strategy, the analysis, and outcomes and ability to convey the same to a nonfinancial audience
  • You have the ability to maintain quality & timeliness of deliverables across a number of varied tasks and responsibilities
  • You have excellent organizational and planning skills; able to manage multiple project responsibilities and shifting urgent priorities
  • You have a high tolerance for ambiguity and change while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • You have excellent negotiation and influence skills; must be able to take a lead role in recommending course of action during live negotiations
  • You have intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modeling and analysis
Great-to-haves

  • Bilingualism (French/English)
  • Postsecondary degree in Business, Economics or Finance; MBA desirable
