ServiceNow QA Analyst - ITSM

Job Overview:


As a ServiceNow QA Analyst with ITSM experience, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow ITSM solutions.

Collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders, you will develop test strategies, execute test plans, and identify defects to ensure the successful deployment of high-quality ITSM solutions that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with project teams to understand ITSM requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow implementations.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate ServiceNow ITSM functionalities, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to verify the accuracy, functionality, and performance of ServiceNow ITSM solutions across different environments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or ServiceNow ITSM, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate ServiceNow ITSM solutions before production deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing activities, communicate test results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices to enhance testing methodologies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow ITSM functionalities.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools, such as Selenium or ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITSM and Certified System Administrator, preferred.

Job Type:
Contract


Pay:
$60.00-$70.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • SQL: 1 year (preferred)
  • Selenium: 1 year (preferred)
  • Test automation: 1 year (preferred)
