We are seeking a highly organized Intake Worker to join our team As an Intake Worker, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing incoming communications, assisting with client intakes and providing crucial support to our therapists.


Responsibilities

Client Intake: Complete client intake assessments over the phone or video, establish rapport and trust with potential clients, and support them through meetings with multiple therapists until they find the right therapist for them.

Outreach: Actively and proactively reach out to potential clients to ensure they receive the highest level of quality care, even if they are not yet clients.

Schedule Management: Manage the clinic's schedule and the schedules of therapists, as well as monitor the waitlist to ensure efficient scheduling and allocation of appointments.

Appointment Management: Ensure that all scheduled therapy sessions and consultations are occurring as planned and address any issues that may arise.

Administrative Support: Support therapists with various administrative tasks to enhance their ability to focus on client care.

Data Reporting: Generate regular reporting metrics and provide support for other data requests as necessary to assist in clinic operations and decision-making.

Empathy and Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrate empathy, possess strong clinical knowledge, effectively respond to difficult situations to provide the highest level of care.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g psychology, social work, or healthcare administration) is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathetic and understanding approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to multitask, manage schedules, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Proficiency with technology and software related to scheduling, communication, and video conferencing.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
