**Are you detail oriented and mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy learning new things in a hands
- on, fast
- paced environment? We are seeking a Maintenance worker to repair and maintain our production equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Maintenance Team Member will also be responsible for routine preventative maintenance.**
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Start
  • up equipment and facility at beginning of the day.
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment. Troubleshoot problems with equipment.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair work.
  • Perform minor repairs on building as required.
  • Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities.
  • Respond to repair and maintenance items in a timely fashion.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned.

The successful individual will possess the following:

  • 1-2 years' experience in maintenance repair is required.
  • Experience with hand and electrical tools.
  • Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and drawings/blueprints.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health standards.
  • High School Diploma and computer literacy.
  • Physical requirements include but are not limited to: standing for extended periods of time, repeated bending, stretching, lifting, twisting and reaching.

Hours of Work:


  • Monday to Thursday 5:00am
  • 1:30pm
  • Friday 6:30am 3:00pm

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
