**Are you detail oriented, thorough, and self
- motivated? We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner to clean our production facility and equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Industrial Cleaner will also assist with routine preventative maintenance.**
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Clean production facility and equipment such as steam tunnel and linen iron.
  • Empty refuse bins to appropriate garbage, recycling and compost areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Remove lint from equipment, floors, ceilings, and walls.
  • Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly checklist items are completed.
  • Remove soiled mats and replace with clean mats.
  • Replenish supplies in washrooms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned.

The successful individual will possess the following:

  • Previous facility cleaning experience.
  • Previous equipment cleaning experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and individually.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health standards.
  • Physical requirements include but are not limited to: standing for extended periods of time, repeated bending, stretching, lifting, twisting and reaching.

Schedule:


  • Monday to Thursday 1:00pm
  • 9:30pm
  • Friday 6:30am 3:00pm

Job Types:

Pay:
$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
