This position is required to work in person at The Music Centre and the Central Park Bandshell.

Position Overview

Responsibilities

The Sound Technician will be responsible for the set-up, tear-down, and operating of the sound system for the Concert in the Park series.

The supplied sound system includes a 22-channel mixer, 16-channel snake, main speakers, monitors, microphones, and stands. Each performing group will provide basic sound requirements in advance of their performance.

The Sound Technician will communicate with the performing ensembles to determine the sound requirements, and select, position, and adjust the equipment to provide the best possible sound experience in the outdoor venue.
