Who are we?
WAAS Aerospace Inc. has been in operation since 2014 and is a Transport Canada approved maintenance company.

We operate from facilities located on the south shore of Montreal at Saint-Hubert Airport (CYHU) and in Quebec City at Jean-Lesage International Airport (CYQB).

We provide line and scheduled maintenance, avionics modifications and research and development services for business and wide-body aircraft. We offer 24/7 Aircraft on Ground (AOG) services to help customers meet their on-time departure obligations and minimise downtime.

Our parent company, Chrono Aviation, was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the company operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Today, the Chrono Aviation group has a fleet of 15 aircraft and a team of 280 employees.


Role and context


Reporting to the Manager - Planning and Administration, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing the administrative support required for our aircraft maintenance company.


Key responsibilities

  • Data entry and work orders
  • Follow up on documents/flight reports, invoices and any other information required for invoicing projects
  • Ensure compliance/quality of tasks and work orders before closing
  • Ensuring that hours are correctly recorded on work cards and validating hours for the payroll department.
  • Assist management staff
  • Check and plan training courses with the quality department and prepare the training calendar

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills to ensure effective and timely delivery
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Good knowledge of Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Have a strong sense of responsibility
