Overall Summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and making job offers.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding, including coordinating paperwork, setting up employee files, and providing an overview of company policies and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, performance evaluations, and other HRrelated documents.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HRrelated matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, RRSP, and other related benefits.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees to improve their skills and enhance their productivity.
  • Stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Provide general administrative support to the organization, including managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and coordinating company events.
  • Managing projects to successful completion within designated parameters.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth within the HR function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
