Responsibilities:


  • Physically digging holes and trenches by hand using tools such as shovels, picks, etc.
  • Pulling cable through conduit or laying in trenches
  • Operation of gas and electrically power equipment (i.e., saws, drills, jumping jacks, generators)
  • Safely load and unload supplies and equipment from vehicles
  • Maintain site safety and traffic control, assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
  • Other duties as required by manager

Qualifications:


  • Must have a valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and a good driver's abstract
  • Minimum 612 months of related outside labor experience in construction or landscaping
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, wintersummer
  • Able to safely lift 5075lbs
  • Good verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to read and write in English

Salary:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
