We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated
Bookkeeper to join our team.


As a
Bookkeeper and a member of the Keith and Son team, you will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, ensuring the accurate processing and payment of accounts payable (AP), the invoicing and collection of accounts receivable (AR), preparation and filing of necessary taxation forms such as GST, posting and reconciliation of payroll payments for our sister companies.

This role provides the opportunity to build and grow and to take on a variety of work.

Job Responsibilities*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Full Cycle Bookkeeping
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile and post credit card expense reports
  • Reporting
  • Employee Expenses

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of fullcycle accounting experience; experience in the construction industry is a strong asset
  • Proactive and solutionoriented
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet all processing deadlines
  • Strong accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong data entry and processing skills
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online accounting software and an ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexible and adaptable to take on a variety of work
