Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


Location:
Richmond, BC


Position Overview:


Works mainly independently with guidance from Departmental Manager as required to ensure the prompt accurate processing and production of all operational and process documentation.

Is responsible for the efficiency of his/her own work.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Performs Claims administration functions including assistance in processing insurance claims, coordinate and create destruction bill of lading, process all voluntary destruction requests,
  • Plan, schedule and track destruction loads, report to customer on destructions and coordinate closely with adjusters
  • Process the required paperwork to support our warehouse operations for claims processing and resolving receiving discrepancies, including:
  • investigating claims
- preparing documentation required to comply with the different regulatory agencies,
- creating and submitting claims paperwork and preparing monthly insurance reports.
- working with the warehouse and logistics department to resolve discrepancies
- liaising with 3rd party carriers and insurance company

  • Other associated activities in the department

Required Qualifications:


  • Some Post secondary courses
  • 23 years claims experience or specialist certificate/diploma (Level 1 General Insurance)
