Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lab Manager to oversee our cannabis testing and environmental testing laboratory.

As the Lab Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all testing is performed accurately and efficiently, and managing a team of laboratory technicians.

Responsibilities:

Manage the daytoday operations of the laboratory, including the scheduling of tests and the allocation of resources
Ensure that all testing is performed accurately and efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order at all times
Manage and mentor a team of laboratory technicians, providing guidance and training as needed
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate results to clients and stakeholders
Participate in the development and implementation of new testing methods and techniques
Keep uptodate with industry trends and regulatory developments, and ensure that the laboratory is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, environmental science)
At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role
Extensive knowledge of cannabis testing and environmental testing methodologies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

$55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
