Adult Support Workers at BACI support people to lead a good life.

This role works with people to explore dreams and passions providing opportunities for people to develop relationships, find places of belonging in community, have a home they view as a haven and support people to work towards a balanced life which is healthy and safe.

Position:
Regular Part-Time Adult Service Worker

Location:
Burnaby, BC

Salary:

$25.05
**Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Schedule: Sunday 3:30PM-9:30PM Monday 9:30AM-4:00PM Friday&Saturday 3:30PM-11:00PM

Responsibilities:

Support people in a sharedliving home to have positive control of their home and to be active members of their community

- contributing to support plans, implementation of support plans
- providing supports in a person-centred manner
- documentation such as financial, monitoring, logs etc.

Ensuring that individuals are connected to friends and family.
Providing individuals with the opportunity to make meaningful choices
Encouraging and recognizing individuals' contributions Ensuring that individuals are safe and to promote their health and wellbeing
Qualifications:
Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience.
Current First Aid & CPR, NCI training (both provided by BACI),

- valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Drivers License.
