Description

Roles:

  • Inspect battery changer for damage, ensure all safety features operational, complete safety sign off
  • Maneuver material handling equipment in/out of battery changing area
  • Operate battery loader to exchange batteries in material handling equipment
  • Maintain optimal timelines of battery changing in coordination with equipment
  • Identify current charge and water states of batteries
  • Store batteries of different voltages separately in designated areas and organize by charge status
  • Ensure all batteries are adequately watered and charged before installing into equipment
  • Document any damage to batteries, store in maintenance area and communicate requirements
  • Complete daily logs for battery operation on number of battery changes, watering, damages
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by organizing, sweeping, and clearing work areas.
  • Assist with general building maintenance (replace lightbulbs, door handles, interior doors, installation of signage (interior), plumbing (turn off water lines, remove blockages)
  • Assist with moving disabled material handling equipment
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety requirements pertaining to the job duties and warehouse environment

Salary:
$42,000.00-$44,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
