Inventory Control Manager (3PL)

Job Overview:

As an Inventory Control Manager in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels across multiple clients and warehouses on site.

Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient storage, and timely order fulfillment while minimizing costs and maximizing client satisfaction.


Qualifications:


  • Proficient in Excel and word
  • Experience in warehousing, shipping and inventory control policies and procedures.
  • 2 + years of experience with inventory Control Management
  • Flexible when completing tasks.
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Leadership skills
  • Takes initiative.
  • Analytical skills organized and keen attention to detail.
  • Punctual
  • Good at multitasking
  • Must have a positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures for various clients and warehouse locations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to determine reorder points, safety stock levels, and optimal stocking quantities.
  • Warehouse Operations:
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Implement best practices for product placement, organization, and handling to minimize damages and maximize space utilization.
  • Supervise the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Demand Forecasting:
  • Work closely with clients and sales teams to forecast demand accurately.
  • Use historical data and market trends to anticipate inventory needs and fluctuations.
  • Adjust inventory levels in response to changing demand patterns.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate regular inventory reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and inventory optimization.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders for inventory strategy improvements.
  • Manage, monitor and communicate inventory KPIs and results ;
  • Compliance and Quality Control:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Recommend and help implement quality control measures to minimize errors and ensure product integrity.
  • Address any compliance or quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Train staff on inventory control measures
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Pay:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
