Assistant Professor (Contractually Limited Appointment): Philosophy and Arts & Science


McMaster University is located on the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee and Mississauga Nations, and within the lands protected by the Dish with One Spoon wampum agreement.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching and research commensurate with their career stage.

They must also demonstrate willingness and ability to:
(1) contribute to the undergraduate programs in both Philosophy and Arts & Science; (2) mentor students in Philosophy and Arts & Science (3) support the collegial atmosphere and intellectual life of both units. The successful applicant must have, or be very near completion of, a doctorate in philosophy or in a related discipline by the time of appointment.

Vaccination Policy Statement
