Albert and Lacombe with over 1,000 suites, including the award winning Devonshire Village, Citadel Village, Glastonbury Village, and Royal Oak Village, Christenson Communities is the leader in Assisted Living.

We are currently seeking a qualified
Hairdresser for our
Royal Oak Village location in
Lacombe, AB. This is an exciting salon rental opportunity that includes two chairs, two sinks and one hair dryer. There are 161 suites on-site, with the potential to open to the public.

Areas of Accountability:

Adhering to strict disinfecting protocols; in line with AHS standards;
Responsible for obtaining waivers upon first appointment, recording services in client files, and processing payments.
Create your own hours; must be able to work a minimum of 34 days per week with flexibility for more.
Must bring own styling products, tools, colors, etc

Qualifications:

WCB coverage
Certified 3 + year experienced hairstylist
A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector is a requirement.

Demonstrated Abilities:

Must be patient; working with seniors
Senior stylists will be expected to carry out consultations with clients on their needs and advise on anything from hair care to cuts and colours.
Strong knowledge of classic and creative cutting techniques
Good knowledge of the colour wheel is vital; grey coverage
Strong knowledge of skin conditions.
Strong on customer service
Excellent communication skills
