Project Manager - Remediation & Rebuild
As a 'Restoration Project Manager', your _
duties and responsibilities_ include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects.
- Effectively communicate with teammates, the office staff, customers, vendors, and insurance adjusters on a daily basis, to ensure a seamless experience for the insured when a claim is filed.
- Schedule, coordinate and oversee teammates and subcontractors.
- Assessing damage and determining an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates.
- Manage existing client relationships and foster and grow new relationships with industry partners.
- Projects must be completed ontime, on budget and to established quality standards from start to finish.
- Manage and direct restoration team members during:
- Remediation efforts (eg, water damage, fire & smoke damage, mould)
- Rebuilding
- Project completion
- Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesman.
- Open to working after hours and on weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills & requirements_
- You will spend a good deal of time in the field to see your projects get completed properly.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Project Manager in the restoration industry
- IICRC (S500 Standard) certification preferred.
- Familiar with Xactimate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations & BC Building code preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in all restoration procedures and safety standards, as well as managing a team of professionals of different specialties to achieve quality results.
- Outstanding customer service interactions with property owners, businesses, and families ensuring they know what's happening and what we're doing to get their lives back to normal.
- Problem solving and priority management skills.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Self starter who demonstrates initiative
- Excellent team player
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Valid BC driver's license & clean drivers abstract, clean criminal record.
- Accuracy, attention to detail.
- Multitasking & a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
Salary:
$60,000.00 per year
