As part of our National Solutions Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' services are fully functional across the country.


Our area covers many tasks including sales liaison, order support and fulfillment, as well as technical engineering, customer implementation and project management.

We are a highly efficient business services organization that delivers exceptional customer and team experiences.


The Business Consultant leads the development and enhancement of business processes by playing a key role in improving the way TELUS does business.

The individual works in partnership with the business area(s) to identify and drive transformational and strategic change.


What you'll do

  • Champion and own large complex strategic transformational projects and programs including customer experience and process development/reengineering
  • Lead national, crossfunctional teams to resolve challenges, implement process improvements, and execute our competitive strategy to deliver differentiated customer solutions and an exemplary customer experience
  • Provides business consulting expertise in the development of complex solutions
  • Understands the economic impact of opportunities for TELUS including the production of financial analysis
  • Takes ownership of multiple process driven projects or large complex programs
  • Provides high level methodology advice and guidance to other business analysts, key stakeholders and the project team
  • Represents TELUS on industry forums and technical committees including and/or representing TELUS on government and industry bodies regarding standards development

Qualifications:


What you bring

  • More than seven (7) years of experience in the field of business analysis or equivalent experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex situations in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong analytical and thinking skills to solve problems and find innovative solutions and improvements
  • Excellent command of business analysis concepts and best practices
  • Expertise in process methodology (from design to implementation and continuous improvement)
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex and/or strategic projects
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, ability to build strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively facilitate and lead discussions and meetings
  • Ability to manage time and multiple projects with great attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing

Great-to-haves

  • Experience in business process automation & digitalization
  • Ability to communicate in French both orally and in writing
  • University degree
  • Knowledge of TELUS Business Solutions processes
  • Certification in business analysis or project management
