Employee Engagement Coordinator to join our big family at our main office in Maple Ridge.

- Work directly with the Manager of Human Resources and the Director of Workforce Planning on establishing a strategic tool to measure employee engagement across the group of companies.
- Work with the Vice President of Administration and the Marketing Manager to review and improve all internal communications to ensure the mission, vision, and values are communicated regularly and effectively.
- Help develop and implement the company's diversity initiatives and strategies to maintain a diverse workplace.
- Lead the development and execution of employee engagement programs and foster the company's culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered.
- Oversee the employee recognition program.
- Organize employee special events, including but not limited to team building, holiday events, and company outings.
- Oversee the company's employee swag program in support of employee engagement initiatives.
- Regularly visit various job sites to maintain connections with site leaders and to understand the unique needs/requirements of sitebased employees.
- Provide routine information regarding events, progress, policies, and procedures.
- Research and prepare information for thorough reports. Assist in drafting, proofreading, and processing of these reports and related documents.
- Maintain various files and records of information such as budget, correspondence, activity, and reports.
- Manage any special projects assigned by the Manager of Human Resources and/or the Director of Workforce Planning.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Computer skills such as Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters, as appropriate.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving ability, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to act with integrity, good judgment, and discretion.
Education & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in event planning, employee engagement or a related field is required
- Formal education in Human Resource Management will be considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience in construction and or manufacturing is a strong asset.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other officebased productivity software is required; exposure to Human Resources Information Systems would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Bamboo HR is considered a strong asset.
Work Conditions
- This is a fulltime, officebased position
- Overtime as required

Compensation:
$60,000 to $85,000/year+ 5% RRSP + 100% Employer-paid Extended Health & Dental benefits package + Life Insurance + LTD + Phone Allowance.
