Provide project administration support services for complex projects in this career building role


Within the Child Care Division, the Child Care Capital, Community, and ECE Registry Services Branch is responsible for delivering a variety of provincial child care programs.

The Child Care Resource and Referral Program is committed to working in partnership with community to enhance the availability and accessibility of a range of flexible, responsive and inclusive quality child care options and services that support the needs of children, families and child care providers.


The Program Assistant reviews and monitors reporting, communicates with contractors and provides administrative and technical support for the Child Care Resource and Referral program.


Job Requirements:


  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum six (6) months experience in contract administration.
  • Experience providing project management support services.
  • Experience gathering and assessing information to make recommendations or resolve problems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Preferences

  • Experience with records management systems.
  • Experience using databases, spreadsheets, and word processing to develop reports and prepare documents.
