The Role:


The Sales Consultant is responsible for day to day sales and model home activity, guiding and qualifying homeowners through the home buying process by aligning their needs and wants with our Caivan solutions.

Involvement in pre-construction sales for a diverse product offerings including Low, Mid and Highrise.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work to achieve sales targets and projections.
  • Build longterm relationships with potential homebuyers by prospecting, building broker relationships, obtaining qualified referrals, cultivating leads and participating in special marketing & promotional events.
  • Registrant lead generation and qualification as required.
  • Monitors sales activities for each community for Low, Mid and High Rise projects, providing regular reporting on sales performance.
  • Compiles feedback regarding competition and market condition for analysis and provides to Manager, Sales.
  • Mortgage prequalification and approval prior to sales as required.
  • Ensure all buyers are FINTRAC compliant during purchase to firm process.
  • Guide customers through the steps and processes from the sale of a home to the start of construction.
  • Complete and explain Purchase and Sale Agreement with customers.
  • Complete exterior and interior colour and design selections.
  • Ensure customers complete the Guest Registry form and include tracking of information.
  • Prepare sales targets and projections.
  • Complete sales reports on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensure sales office and models are properly maintained.
  • Complete competitive analyses.
  • Input to market competitive and completion of value graphs.
  • Attend weekly and quarterly meetings as required.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Design Centre and Construction departments on a continuous and consistent basis.
  • General sales and marketing support.
  • Training and supervision of Sales Administrator and/or Associate by setting clear rules & expectations (i

e:
clean windows, snow on front door, no garbage, landscaping maintained, how to greet customers, etc.).

  • Collecting other local builder pricelist.
  • Regularly inspect all community signage to ensure that it meets standards and work proactively with the Sales & Marketing team on signage updates, installs, etc.
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the Manager.

You will bring:


  • Post secondary education with a focus on Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a residential home builder environment
  • Have previous sales experience previous inhome sales experience a definite asset
  • Experience in Low, Mid and Highrise sales process (freehold and condominium)
  • Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Have a minimum of high school education; postsecondary education is an asset
  • Be customer service oriented with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Have excellent time management and planning skills
  • Be available to work nights and weekends to accommodate our customers' needs
  • Be highly ambitious, resultsoriented, and selfmotivated
