IT Support Intern who will act as first level IT support for the Canada and Latin America Region. This position is located in
Richmond, British Colombia and is an
8-month term position starting in May, 2024.
You will get exposure to many different technologies and work with the Boeing Vancouver IT team on your learning objectives.
What will be your interest? As an Intern in the Boeing Vancouver IT team you will not only get to meet everyone in the company (as you support their requests) but you will also work with a highly trained and experienced IT team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Learning objectives: Can be a technology, project and/or skillset.
- Provide first level technical support to Boeing employees around the world
- Perform repairs for PC hardware
- Responsible for Workstation setup and Audio/Video setup
- Assist with project work
- Support inventory and backups
- Any additional technical support duties as assigned by the management team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible to handle US exportcontrolled data
- Must be a currently enrolled student attending a postsecondary education.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills; professional, courteous, and highly serviceoriented
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Previous work experience in IT is considered an asset
- CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Desktop Support Technician certification is beneficial.
- Desktop support with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office experience.
- Experience with Mac OS is beneficial
- Reliable, responsible, conscientious, and selfmotivated; ability to follow detailed tasks to completion with mínimal supervision
