Certified Sales & Rentals is currently recruiting to fulfill a Field Technician Summer Student role. Our diverse Group of Companies consists of Northern Strands, Fortis Mining Engineering & Manufacturing, and Certified Sales & Rentals.

Key Responsibilities:

This position performs a variety of tasks and is primarily responsible for the execution of safe and efficient Fall Protection system and progressioner installations and assessments.
Aiding in installing fall protection systems and performing fall protection inspections at a variety of customer sites under the direction of the Crew Supervisor;
Complete tasks in accordance with the company procedures and policies for specific jobs;
Maintaining safe work practices, the Installer provides a working example of safe methods for working at heights;
Aiding in the completion of site inspections of existing fall protection systems and anchors;
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Ability to commence fulltime (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August;
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
Strong time

- management skills;

Ability to communicate clearly;
Ability to multitask;
Ability to prioritize;
Ability to understand and follow directions;
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
Work well alone or in a team setting;
Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite is considered an asset.
