    Position Title: Deskside Support Technician I

    Purpose: The IT Support Analyst troubleshoots computer problems, determines the source, and advises on appropriate action, maintains the asset database, assists with shipping and receiving, and assists with all other technology related on-site issues. This position is responsible for hardware/software installation and configuration and provides support to staff on all company supported applications. The position will also be responsible for troubleshooting basic to intermediate network-related issues and being the first point of contact in the event of an outage.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide end user support through email, phone or in person.
  • Setup and manage users' accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and O365.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues and coordinate with networking personnel to resolve issues..
  • Coordinate with management to prepare field setup, deployment, and demobilization.
  • Assist in inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to utilize tools to control access management for projects.
  • Work with management and coordinate with 3rd party vendors and contractors for IT related projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality about the information being processed, stored, or accessed.
  • Ability to work on-call and other after-hours support needs.
  • Support document control team and Project Information teams with databases and other related tasks, depending on workload.
  • Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Worley Canada Services is seeking an Information Technology Site Support Analyst to work with our Canada East IT team in Bath, ON.
  • Full-time position months contract position (2 to 3 years).
  • Role will be fully in-person, on-site M-F with half day Fridays (40 hours a week).
  • Provide user support for other Canada East offices.
  • What you will bring

    Technical and Industry Experience:

  • At least 1-year work experience in an IT service desk role.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and have physical ability to lift 20lbs.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to be adaptable, manage multiple priorities in highly dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
  • Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office 365, SharePoint and other document management systems.
  • Able to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills within position to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
  • Experience working within an EPC environment preferred but not required.
  • Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Post-Secondary Education in an IT field.
