Do you enjoy delivering high-quality content? The Publisher, Editorial Commentary Canada is responsible for sourcing, editing, updating and maintaining commentary content within assigned portfolio, in alignment with the content strategy as defined by Product Management.

Bringing their knowledge of the products and content sets to any projects as required. The Publisher position is entry level and based in Toronto as a hybrid work position.


About the Role

In this opportunity as Legal Publisher you will:

  • Sourcing, reviewing, updating and maintaining commentary content within assigned portfolio, in alignment with the content strategy as defined by product management team
  • Successful delivery and quality control of authored content, whether produced internally or authored externally to agreed schedules
  • Coordination, quality control and management of valueadd content such as index updates, pub notes, and associated legal research to agreed schedules for assigned portfolio
  • Third party content relationship management
  • Awareness of legal and market developments in relation to their portfolio
  • Close liaison with partner departments to ensure successful delivery of the portfolio
  • Support specific online, print and Proview product workflows, projects and initiatives where required.
  • Close collaboration with other teams to facilitate successful delivery, and problem solve, lending domain expertise and supporting with author relations where required

About You
You're a fit for the role of Legal Publisher if your background includes:

  • Law degree required
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational skill including the ability to juggle competing deadlines and escalate issue where appropriate
