Through the decades, we have expanded our offerings to include a unique range of products and programs in professional liability, specialty property and casualty insurance, as well as group and retiree benefits.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for an intern position in the Victor IT Business Analysis group. This position is based within our group & retiree benefits office in Mississauga.

The intern will work within an hybrid work environment however a remote work arrangement could be accommodated, based on circumstances.

What a typical day would include:
As part of our Business Analysis team, you will participate in active projects by:

Assisting with writing business requirements and function specifications for new systems and modifications to existing systems;
Providing assistance with research and fact finding for business and client needs;
Gathering problem support documentation of results and escalates to appropriate staff member;
Providing assistance to senior staff performing requirement gathering interviews with users.
Participating in updates to status reports and task planning activities.

What you need to have:

Working knowledge of Excel and others MS-Office software programs.
Strong interpersonal skills enabling positive interactions with employees, management and clients.
Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a teambased environment.
Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change and a willingness to question the status quo in order to improve the work environment.

Currently enrolled in their third year of a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Commerce, Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or any related field with a graduation date between December 2023 and June 202
