Thomson Power Systems we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers.

We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.


YOUR MISSION

Position Summary:


In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our company's financial transactions and systems, ensuring their optimization.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and fostering growth. Additionally, you will contribute to streamlining and improving our accounts payable process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. It is vital that you exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Furthermore, you will be expected to adhere to national and local financial regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Champions Regal Rexnord values and maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, initiatives, and company policies.
  • Reviewing invoices for proper documentation before payment.
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies by collaborating with the purchasing team.
  • Conducting data entry for invoices, payments, and general ledger.
  • Executing vendor account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and vendor satisfaction.
  • Managing invoice submissions and payment inquiries through Outlook.
  • Obtaining approvals for payments and nonPO invoices.
  • Maintaining virtual and paper records efficiently.
  • Assisting senior financial officers with other duties as required.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Assosiate's degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5) years of fullcycle accounting and accounts payable experience
  • Solid understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred with experience in 3way PO matching
  • Superior Excel Technical Skills with proven competence with pivot tables and formulas
  • Experience & knowledge in various subledger process and basic accounting
  • Experience with accounting software and online platforms
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suit
  • Superb time management skills and detail orientation
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a goaloriented mentality
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and great desire to produce quality work
