Description
TAAG Corporation is looking for a seasonal,Tax Collator/Team Assistant to support the team with a variety of activities.
The incumbent's primary duties will be providing administrative assistance in processing personal and corporate tax returns for a wide range of individual and corporate clients.
- This opportunity is for a 3month term (with the possibility of extension) and offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid._
Key Administrative Responsibilities:
- Perform photocopying and scanning tasks for tax returns and associated documentation.
- Maintain electronic filing systems.
- Organize client deliverables for signing and ensuring they are delivered to the appropriate parties.
- Followup with clients for missing information and/or documentation.
- Maintain workflow to guarantee prompt and accurate assignment of client files.
- Provide other administrative support as needed.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working in a professional environment.
- Good knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and Adobe.
- Knowledge of accounting software including Taxprep and CCH iFirm CRM, considered an asset.
- Familiarity with identifying individual and corporate tax slips, and tax return schedules considered and asset.
- Work in a professional and positive manner while interacting with team members and clients.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Flexibility to be able to move between tasks and duties quickly when priorities change.
- Attention to detail to ensure client deliverables are free of errors.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain office efficiency.
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.
Opportunity:
- Fulltime, Temporary for a 3month term with the possibility of extension.
