    We are looking for a resourceful Data Security Analyst to join our fast-growing team to help us operate cutting-edge platforms that provide data protection to enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about Data security and familiar with DevOps practices and has in-depth experience supporting large scale enterprise systems.

    The role is part of Aviva's Data protection team which is part of Aviva's Cyber security services unit.

    The incumbent will be a domain specialist in the required areas of information security. Support the Information Security Managers in outstanding partner management by maintaining solid relationships with External/Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, Privacy, IT Infrastructure and Operational Business Units in a positive manner.

    What you'll do

    • Design and govern data security controls in an effective manner, to reduce operational risks efficiently.
    • Contribute to the development of new Data Security policies; ensure all existing policies and related documents are up to date.
    • Provide integration support and advisory to integrate databases and data management platforms with Database activity monitoring system and KMS systems for encryption.
    • Manage service requests and problems for systems by performing root cause analysis, identifying improvements, and driving to implementation.
    • Ensure adequate and timely resolutions to all audit/review issues assigned to the team.
    • Develop, maintain, and report on Data protection systems KPIs and SLAs.
    • Responsible for documenting detailed support procedures and provide the required support to management on matters related to information security in a timely manner.

    What you'll bring

    • At least 2 years' experience working in Python and familiar with Shell scripting.
    • Familiar about Information Security controls for Mobile, IoT, Cloud, Applications, Network, and System infrastructure.
    • Working knowledge of HSMs, PKI systems and Database monitoring systems e.g., Imperva
    • At least 3 years' experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborative work approaches with bother internal and external contacts.

    Preferred background

    • College or University degree in computer science.
    • Insurance industry specific background would be an asset.
    • Experience working in the financial services sector.
    • A background in risk management, compliance and auditing.
