Territory Manager - Institutional Medical Gases - Montreal, QC


The Territory Manager - Institutional Medical Gases will be responsible for managing an existing group of customers in the Province of Quebec to include Eastern Ontario to Ottawa.

Working closely with our Merchant, Packaged and Medigas divisions, you will be responsible for maintaining close relationships with our base of medical customers in assigned territory while cultivating and gaining new business associated with our product line of medical gases and related equipment.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daytoday activities for a select group of customers ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience in the purchasing of our products
  • Proactively communicating with this customer base to validate complete customer satisfaction while addressing issues or concerns
  • Promote and sell our line of medical gases including bulk, cylinder, and related equipment in assigned territory using current communication tools and devices, leading to quotations and ultimately to a new customer
  • Strong emphasis on growing sales through new business development while implementing marketing plans and new product launches
  • Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions along with improving working cash flow through timely collections
  • Carry out administrative tasks as necessary to ensure complete and accurate account set up and pricing data
  • Record and maintain competitive market information and activity
  • Performing all job duties in compliance with Linde Canada Safety Standards

Job Related Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or College degree preferred in Science, Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent job experience connected to gases
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills along with being computer and tech savvy
  • You will be results oriented, organized, and able to set priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Able to fully manage all relationships with current and new medical customers
  • Selfmotivated, selfdriven and capable of working with mínimal supervision
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required
