Position:
Full Time Mill Labourer / Production Associate

  • This fulltime role will be within our Feed Mill and will cover responsibilities in the area of feed milling, packaging, warehousing, shipping and receiving. Feed mill, farming and forklift experience will be an asset, but not required. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, including attractive base wage, pension plan, bonus eligibility, and companypaid health benefits.
  • Have a strong work ethic, be dependable, team oriented, and have the capacity to learn
  • Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures, and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, and customers
  • Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patrons needs are met
  • Operate all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with equipment and facility maintenance as required
  • Complete general work & housekeeping around the facility, and other duties as assigned
  • Perform warehouse work including driving forklifts, shipping, receiving, completing paperwork
  • Be physically capable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs
  • Have ability and willingness to work in dusty, warm, cold environment (indoor/outdoor facility)
