Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team at Antojo Tacos + Tequila.

We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join and lead our front of house teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all employees in a positive and energetic manner to help achieve legendary team spirit in the workplace
  • Assist the Antojo team in creating and maintaining restaurant flow and organization
  • Adhere to company standards and coordinate with the management team to help increase sales and minimize costs
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial/local laws and ordinances
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food and beverage preparation and service
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Must uphold all Serve Right guidelines as well as all provincial laws outlined in the Nova Scotia Liquor Control Act.
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or employee is injured
  • Upholding standards, product quality, cleanliness, atmosphere (temperature, music volume, lighting) and following assigned check lists
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food and beverage quality and service

About you

  • 2+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
  • Experience supervising a team an asset
  • Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
  • Advanced English language skills

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
  • Must be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time (patio)
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
