Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and growth-oriented individual for the newly created Accounting Manager position.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the leads of operating departments, the Accounting Manager has responsibility for day-to-day financial reporting and treasure management of the Company.

With sound financial oversight, the Accounting Manager can increase the Company's capability to generate data and reports in support of strategic objectives.

The Accounting Manager will have exposure to accounting, treasure management, finance, system and process development, payroll, tax and IT.

What You'll Get To Do:


  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax filings
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including maintaining the working papers, performing intercompany reconciliation and resolving the discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis reports
  • Assign works/tasks to direct reports and ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing revenue and expense analysis and identifying trends and issues
  • Maintain cash flow management and improve internal control procedures
  • Administer payroll and benefits payments
  • Assist in the design and implementation of features and procedures to enhance the accounting department's workflow
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reports development for senior management;

What We're Looking For:


  • High integrity and immovable ethical core
  • CPA designation
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • Entrepreneurial spirit as a proactive selfstarter
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline and/or equivalent combination of postsecondary education and technical experience
  • Public practice experience is an asset
  • Experience with QuickBooks online is an preferred
  • Flexible in handling competing priorities, with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines
  • System savvy, uses data/analytics to assist in decisionmaking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as strong interpersonal skills
