Epicure is seeking a skilled Account Payable Clerk to join our team.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk at Epicure, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company by accurately processing and recording vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.

Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall efficiency of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities

Process incoming vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and matching with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper account classification and cost center allocation.
Process freight invoices and ensure correct allocation of landed costs to inventory transactions.
Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status.
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and resolve invoicerelated issues.
Assist with monthend and yearend closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Perform other duties as assigned

What you have:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant postsecondary education is a plus.
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills
