Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Publications Specialist.

The successful incumbent will ensure Technical Data and Publications Management Services are provided as stated in F404 PGS, J85 and ETF contracts.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintaining the paper and IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) publications & publishing system. Includes delivering compliant SGML / XML files to customer and department requirements.

Work with the department illustrator in creating, altering and delivering basic and sophisticated functional illustrations.

Provide software support in areas of troubleshooting and installations

Provision of graphic support for work assigned by other departments as required.

Position Requirements

Formal education in Computer Science, Desktop Publishing or Technical Writing

Solid experience in graphics / publishing / illustrations related technology

Ability to represent the company as the technical authority on graphic / publication issues.

Knowledge of Frame Maker and Corel Designer desirable
