General Job Description


Reporting directly to the department or plant manager, the supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance and outcomes of their department. They are also in charge of directly supervising and training Leader Technicians and Team Members. The Supervisor plays a crucial role as the mediator between senior management and team members.

The main focus lies on ensuring quality and efficiency while making sure all Team Members operate within Health and Safety regulations. Building solid and effective connections with other internal departments and management is key.

As a Supervisor at TG MINTO CORPORATION, you are expected to execute your assigned duties professionally while embodying TG Minto's vision of treating everyone with honesty, dignity, integrity, and respect.


Duties and Responsibilities
TG Minto is seeking leaders able to motivate and empower their teams.

Your main responsibilities will include monitoring and improving your team's performance based on their feedback. It is essential that our leaders can educate and support their teams in reaching their utmost potential.

Hands-on leadership is highly valued at TG - hence, leading by example and maintaining open communication within your team is a must.


You will be responsible for overseeing the operations of your department and holding a broad scope of responsibility to sustain production levels while ensuring safety and quality standards are met by the team.

These tasks are designed to guarantee high production levels in a SAFE and cost-effective manner.

Your efficient use of manpower and equipment directly impacts production costs and, consequently, the final product prices that we offer in the market.

Your actions include:

  • Planning and assigning work tasks and training new employees.
  • Implementing company policies within the department.
  • Directing Leader Technicians in the team, collaborating closely with them to oversee FTM production.
  • Ensuring FTMs meet productivity targets and adhere to standardized work procedures.
  • Troubleshooting machine issues.
  • Assessing the operational status of all equipment in your area of control and reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Maintaining the correct functioning of equipment to prevent environmental or production disruptions.
  • Completing all relevant documentation accurately and on time.
  • Conducting regular inspections of departmental equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with all management levels, including Japanese staff.
  • Delivering presentations to groups.
  • Performing root cause analysis on customer issues and defect reduction.
  • Documenting departmental productivity and defects, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Motivating employees and assisting in conflict resolution.
  • Monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement processes.
  • Reviewing the trials process for new parts and aiding the Preproduction Department in trial scheduling.
  • Supporting the manager/team lead as needed to achieve department goals.
  • Coaching and counseling team members on their responsibilities.
  • Enforcing corrective actions (discipline) for employees when appropriate.
  • Taking responsibility for carrying out assigned tasks.
  • Working safely and maintaining 5S standards.
  • Fulfilling any other assigned duties.
  • Being flexible to shift changes to meet production needs.
  • Adapting to changes in reporting structure or duties as business demands.
