Description
The principal and customary work of the employee in this employment class consists in performing a set of administrative functions of a relatively complex nature according to established methods and procedures and clerical functions related to activities in their area.
- Occasional employees may receive shortterm contracts in a variety of departments.
- Greet, screen and direct the public, employees and students to the appropriate person and/or information
- Respond efficiently and effectively to inquiries (by phone, inperson, or electronic means)
- Provide general administrative support to departments based on the occasional contract
- Manage calendars and book appointments
- Handle petty cash, cheque requisitions and purchase orders;
- Perform other related tasks

Requirements:
- QUALIFICATIONS
- To have a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) with appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES) or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience.
- CONDITIONS
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail and work independently when needed
- Advanced English and intermediate French language skills, both oral and written (testing may be required)
- MS Word intermediate, MS Excel intermediate (testing may be required)
- Previous experience in a CEGEP environment, an asset
