Our team of 550+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.

The Role


The Product Management team at Medcan is accountable for driving double digit growth for a large portfolio of strategic, client-centric offerings.

As a Product Intern you will support product management and development through research, analysis of financial, customer and market data, and performance reporting.

This is a summer internship opportunity which will run from May to August.

The role will work directly with a product manager and have the opportunity to be part of a corporate environment, be an active participant in a designated project, and be a member of a highly collaborate team.


The Accountabilities:

  • Perform research to support the development of products, including but not limited to conditionspecific screening paired with the Annual Health Assessment.
  • Maintain and disseminate competitive intelligence for key competitors and products to support product owners, marketing, corporate sales, and customer success.
  • Analyze metrics to understand client behavior and product performance and continually improve company products.
  • Play an active role in ensuring the success of a key project, including tracking progress, updating team and manager, and meeting deadlines.
  • Provide support to team members as needed.

The Requirements:

  • Current student in 2nd or 3rd year at a postsecondary institution
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Healthcare Management / Administration or Economics is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Highly analytical and comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong time management and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Selfsufficient individual with the ability to work well in crossfunctional teams
  • Eager to learn and contribute
This is a summer internship opportunity from May to August. You will work 5 days/week between Monday to Friday. This is an in-office position with the opportunity for occasional work-from-home.
