Postdoctoral Fellow, Remote Sensing:


Nature of Work:
Combination of desk and fieldwork


Accountabilities:

The PDF will be responsible for linking a dynamic team of landscape scientists, economists, soil scientists, GIS, remote sensers, and computer programmers to help develop an online decision support system to calculate landscape valuations across the southern Prairies.

Previous experience working with one or more of these diverse groups will be seen as definitive assets.


Education:
A PhD is required.


Licenses:
A valid class 5 driver's license is a necessity.


Skills:
Expertise in the areas of resource economics, agricultural economics,

economic geography or a related discipline. Experience with spatial interpolation of landscape features of the prairies would be considered an asset.
