Operations Manager, a key member of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen management team, you will be responsible for the operation in our fast-paced Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).

Job Description:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Ensure safety is a priority and objectives are are achieved.
Inspire change through communication at all impacted levels
Lead continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost efficient work environment that meets performance targets
Ensure that adequate training and tools are provided to all employees
Evaluate and establish operating procedures
Ensure that workplace safety standards are met
Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, business associates and employees
Ensure that supervisory staff is crosstrained in multiple functions, and embraces a teamoriented approach to problem solving
Develop, motivate and train all levels of employees for their professional development and future growth

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

57 years in supervising, planning and directing operations
Skill at interpreting diagrams and repair manuals
Understand revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results
SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management
Clean driving record, ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions
Notethis role requires the flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays_
