Description

As a key member of GFL Winnipeg's Solid Waste Sales team, you will be committed to enhancing our client relationships and growing our market share.

You will be relied upon to source new business with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader.

This position will focus on primarily growing our customer base within our Commercial Solid Waste business line. The chosen individual will thrive in this challenging, competitive, ever-changing business environment.

Job Duties
Seek out business development with new and existing clients
Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our diverse service offerings
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times to ensure every opportunity is taken to promote the brand
Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff
Provide market intelligence with respect to competitors and pricing strategies
Formulate business plans and strategies to meet business development targets

Requirements:

Minimum two years experience in sales
Waste management industry experience an asset
Strong initiative and accountability, with a focus on achieving results
Superior interpersonal communication skills, with commitment to delivering quality service, both internally and externally
Skilled with use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. CRM database knowledge an asset
Class 5 driver's license
