Working on a 40-hour-per-week basis, The Restoration Technician will be reporting directly to the Restoration Project Supervisor.

The Restoration Technician will be working on a team, immersed in the day-to-day activities of construction projects by performing a variety of construction-related tasks involving physical labor, and the use of hand and power tools.


Responsibilities include:


  • Utilize your high attention to detail to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Demolition, reinforcing, forming, placing, water proofing and pumping concrete
  • Maintain a clean and productive jobsite
  • Assess, erect, and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades as required

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Education:
High School Diploma considered an asset
-
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry

  • Valid driver license preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulation
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg)
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Clear Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector) must be maintained.
  • Occasional work outside of regular work hours (Monday to Friday) may be required
