Working on a 40-hour-per-week basis, The Restoration Technician will be reporting directly to the Restoration Project Supervisor.

The Restoration Technician will be working on a team, immersed in the day-to-day activities of construction projects by performing a variety of construction-related tasks involving physical labor, and the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities include:

Utilize your high attention to detail to complete projects in a timely manner
Demolition, reinforcing, forming, placing, water proofing and pumping concrete
Maintain a clean and productive jobsite
Assess, erect, and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades as required

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Education:
High School Diploma considered an asset
-
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry

Valid driver license preferred but not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulation
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg)
Climb stairs and ladders
Clear Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector) must be maintained.
Occasional work outside of regular work hours (Monday to Friday) may be required
