Deliverables

  • Provide overall program oversight and act as a program coordinator and a resource person for course lecturers teaching courses in the Professional Development Certificate in Residential and Condominium Property Management program.
  • Provide leadership to the course lecturers in coordinating the structure and delivery of the courses in the Professional Development Certificate in Residential and Condominium Property Management program.
  • To ensure cohesiveness of content between the courses forming part of the program, organize and facilitate course lecturers' meetings to review course outlines, course content and coordinate guest speakers prior to the start of the academic year. Ensure that topics do not overlap in the program and identify gaps in the content.
  • Work and collaborate with the course lecturers to ensure that the courses offered through the program deal with the problems and issues faced by the Residential and Condominium Property sector specifically.
  • Maintain the academic rigour of these courses, including ensuring that pedagogical methods are up to date; work closely with course lecturers to prepare the course assessments.
  • At the end of the academic year organize and facilitate a meeting with course lecturers to review student feedback, "lessons learned" and any changes or improvements that might be required; keep Director abreast of development as requested and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure implementation of the agreed actions related to course outline & content updates, as well as program revisions if any.
  • Liaise with relevant professional orders to review program accreditation opportunities
  • Keep abreast of any changes and developments in the field of residential and condominium property management in Quebec.
  • Actively promote PD Certificate in Residential and

Condominium Property Management:
participate in and represent McGill SCS at information sessions, trade shows and industry events.

  • Recommend new instructors and guest speakers for the program when needed.
  • Provide new instructors and guest speakers with onboarding guidance and support.
  • Organize and participate in the Program Info Sessions.
  • Participate in the Program Committee meetings when required.
