Bouygues Energies & Services is a leading provider of Facility Management services to a range of clients across Canada and, through our parent company Bouygues Construction, globally.
Our Canadian projects include the government, aviation industry, and healthcare and entertainment sectors.Currently, we are seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team in Burnaby, BC.
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides efficient operational and administrative support to our facility management contracts across Canada.
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of roles, the administration of our HR Information System (using Dayforce/Ceridian), monthly HR metric reports, and supporting the HR Business Partner in the area of labour and employee relations.

- Full-cycle recruitment (create job postings, manage a recruitment budget, screen and interview applicants, conduct reference checks, administer employment tests, prepare Employment Agreements, coordinate and enter new hire paperwork);
- Conduct our corporate onboarding presentation for new hires and act as a point of contact for our employees across Canada;
- Enter, maintain and terminate employee information using Dayforce;
- Troubleshoot technical HR, payroll and other issues related to Dayforce;
- Coordinate and track the completion of employee orientations, probationary period reviews and annual reviews;
- Compile and prepare HR the metrics for monthly site and corporate meetings, Statistics Canada, business development and more;
- Assist the HR Generalist with the preparation of employee letters related to performance and discipline;
- Assist the HR Generalist with employee investigations;
- Coordinate the Employee of the Month program;
- Order office supplies and assist with required filing and office organization;
- Promote best practices in HR and ensure that policies and procedures as well as our Collective Bargaining Agreements are being adhered to continually.
What you bring:
- Possess a diploma or degree in the field of HR Management;
- Have at least two to three years of progressive HR experience;
- Have experience recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions;
- Are familiar with Unions and have worked with unionized staff;
- Have exceptional technical abilities, including intermediate to advanced skills in Word and Excel;
- Demonstrate exceptional written communication skills and has experience compiling reports for senior management;
- The previous use or knowledge of the Dayforce platform is considered an asset;
- Must be an expert at juggling multiple, competing priorities and working effectively with a diverse team.
Please note that, due to the sensitive and high-security nature of some of our contracts, the successful applicant must be able to obtain an enhanced security clearance with the RCMP.
