Dessert First is hiring at our 1071 Bank Street.We are a bakery and café, we produce everything in small batches and use best quality ingredients to ensure our end-product is exceptional.
As a Barista/Cashier at Dessert First, you will be crafting exceptional coffee and beverages while delivering warm and friendly customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft a variety of coffee, espressobased beverages and teas to perfection.
- Welcome and assist customers with warm and friendly attitude and making recommendations when needed.
- Assist togo customers in selecting and purchasing bakery and drink items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring equipment is in top condition.
- Work as part of Front of house team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
- Assist with table serving
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience preferred.
- Knowledge of steaming milk, coffee beans, brewing techniques, and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.

Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour
