Accounts Payable Administrator - Toronto, Canada - Mircom Technologies
Description
The Accounts Payable Administrator will perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.Key Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices for Receiving, Finished Goods and Operations daily.
- Investigate any price discrepancies and other issues regarding invoice processing.
- Responsible for biweekly cash requirements, preparation of payments (printing of cheques, EFT and ACH submission)
- Reconcile vendor statements
- General office duties as required: faxing, filing and yearend/monthend duties
- Other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- 2 years accounts payable experience
- Previous experience using AccPac
- Postsecondary education preferably in Business or Accounting
- Working towards an Accounting Designation (CPA)
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Knowledge of accounting and/or accounts payable principals
- Proficient with data entry with good attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills ability to effectively deal with both external and internal customers
- Able to work independently under mínimal supervision and function well in a team environment.
- Able to work overtime as required
