Description
The Accounts Payable Administrator will perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Enter vendor invoices for Receiving, Finished Goods and Operations daily.
  • Investigate any price discrepancies and other issues regarding invoice processing.
  • Responsible for biweekly cash requirements, preparation of payments (printing of cheques, EFT and ACH submission)
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • General office duties as required: faxing, filing and yearend/monthend duties
  • Other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:


  • 2 years accounts payable experience
  • Previous experience using AccPac
  • Postsecondary education preferably in Business or Accounting
  • Working towards an Accounting Designation (CPA)
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting and/or accounts payable principals
  • Proficient with data entry with good attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills ability to effectively deal with both external and internal customers
  • Able to work independently under mínimal supervision and function well in a team environment.
  • Able to work overtime as required
