Job purpose/requirements
Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with customers that are key to sustaining the profitability of IMCD and enhancing the customer experience.
Treating customers (internal & external) with professionalism, respect, courtesy & helpful attitudePrioritize and manage time effectively to meet internal & external customer expectations and deadlines
Having working knowledge of our business, capabilities, Principals, products and our customer's industry and requirements
Actively seeks continuous improvement, including self-development
Bilingual (English / French) is an asset but not a requirement
CCP, CCE, or equivalent designation is an asset but not a requirement
Minimum of 3 years related experience in a B2B Distribution environment is recommended
Duties and responsibilities
Accounting
Participate in monthly credit meetings - meeting held to review problem accounts and discuss progress
Creating and maintaining credit history files
Analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports
Supporting the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio
Supporting effective hold screen risk management to ensure good orders are shipped promptly, and slow accounts are actively engaged and documenting daily collections activity
Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies, and performing account/payment reconciliations
Responding to credit inquiries from external and internal clients
Identifying delinquent accounts, potential bad debt or financial exposure risk
Assisting with month end close reporting process
Other duties as assigned from time to time
