You will contribute by:


  • Flexibility and the ability to get to our studios is a must.
  • Smooth, professional board operation that meets the standards of a major market as assigned
  • Handle callscreening shifts and facilitate syndicated programming as assigned
  • Having knowledge and passion for current pop/social media trends
  • May require traffic updates and onair duties
  • Content produce shows as assigned
  • Fillin for fulltime staff during vacation periods
  • Record and edit shows for broadcast on the station if needed
  • Updating the station's website and social media sites if needed

Skills and Experience you will bring:

  • Post-secondary education in journalism, communications or a related field
  • A Diploma in Radio Broadcasting and/or one year industry experience
  • Knowledge of Media Touch and Burli and Adobe
  • Ability to work with a highly talented onair team and take direction
  • Being able to multitask, communicate with staff and handle high pressure situation
  • A passion for the pop format
  • A valid "G" driver's license
