Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Culture**:
- Champion company mission, vision, and values, fostering a workplace culture that empowers and supports employee growth.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and address issues proactively.
- Establish lasting relationships with retail, professional, and commercial customers.
- Maximize all sales opportunities.
Sales and Customer Experience:
- Motivate and influence sales performance through feedback and recognition.
- Increase sales and margins through upselling and addon sales techniques.
- Lead by example, initiating contact with every customer, providing product information, and guiding them to the appropriate departments.
- Resolve escalated customer issues with patience and a focus on relationship strengthening.
- Make decisions aligning with company and customer interests.
- Promote and network locally to attract new business and talented staff.
Team Development:
- Recruit skilled and ethical personnel.
- Provide clear expectations and directions for employee success.
- Develop the store's leadership team through training, motivation, and coaching.
- Ensure ongoing training and development for all staff.
- Implementing Safety Policies and Procedures
- Ensuring Legislative compliance
- Responding to Incidents, Accidents and investigations
- Control of documents and records
- Supporting Health and Safety policies and programs
- Promoting Health and Wellness:
Operations:
- Maintain accurate payroll records.
- Approve purchase orders.
- Conduct regular store checklists to ensure high standards.
- Submit required reports to the Home Office.
- Collaborate with external vendors to maintain building appearance.
- Monitor order processing efficiency and accuracy.
Performance Management:
- Provide regular feedback to employees through meetings and yearend reviews.
- Hold employees accountable to company values.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling, inventory, and order processes.
- Conduct weekly store reports and participate in leadership calls.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations on daily cash handling and inventory management.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, collaborating with buyers and other branches as needed.
Market Strategy:
- Develop a local market positioning strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
